ATLANTA – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms industry, have announced a combined reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the burglary and theft of firearms from a federal firearms licensee in in Hephzibah. "We take this crime very seriously," said Atlanta Field Division Special Agent in Charge Arthur Peralta. “Firearms trafficking is a serious offense that results in significant federal prison time for the person or persons responsible." This theft happened Sept. 22 around 4 a.m. from Cold Fish Armory located at 2522 B Highway 88 in Hephzibah. Unknown suspects stole a vehicle from a used car lot and used that stolen vehicle to ram the doors to gain access into the building. The suspects stole approximately seven firearms.
